Tessley + Teddy. The one at The Barn at Sandcastle Farm.

The wedding that finally happened. After rescheduling because of the world being turned upside down in 2020, this sweet couple tied the knot on Saturday July 18th 2021.

Nerves rose as my sweet friend Tessley looked at herself in the mirror, wearing her wedding dress, for the first time. She was about to get married, that day was finally here, and all the emotions from planning and rescheduling hit her all at once. She held it together as I snapped pictures of her putting on her earrings. She laughed with her bridesmaids as she popped the champagne. She cried with her dad when he saw her for the first time. Then she fixed up her make up and touched up her hair to prepare to see her future husband for their private first look before the ceremony.

We got them set up and she started walking toward Teddy as he anxiously waited to turn around to see his bride for the first time. She tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around to greet her with a huge smile and a wave of relief washed over the both of them as they giggled and embraced. I snapped a some precious pictures of the future Mr. and Mrs. Hayes.

Tessley walked down the aisle with the first man who ever loved her. He gave her away to the man who will love her for the rest of her life. The ceremony was sweet, they tied a cord of 3 to represent their marriage not only includes the two of them but also the Lord. The ceremony ended and they joined their friends and family at cocktail hour.

Tessley and Teddy danced for the first time as husband and wife and enjoyed the rest of the evening mingling and dancing with friends and family.
